Physical Workout of the Day:

50-40-30-20-10 reps of each exercise for time:

You will perform all 50 walking lunges, then proceed to do 50 box jumps at your chosen height, and finish with 50 sit-ups. You will continue this will the remaining 40, 30, 20, and 10 reps.

Mental Workout of the Day:

Sing & Jump…

Today’s mental workout is for the releasing of any stagnant energy. Turn on your favorite song, or favorite song at the moment, and sing your heart out! There is a reason they say to sing your heart out and that is because in the expression of your creative energy you are aligning with your heart. You are unifying the creative energies of the mind, body, and soul and giving the gift of expressing them out into the ethers, even if it happens in your own room. As you sing I want you to jump around and dance. Shake all the stuck energy out of your body and just let it all out! If you feel that you’re acting silly, good! You should act as is appropriate to you! Today is just about letting go, and that will happen through the expression of song and dance! ❤

Close your eyes and think of what a gift it is to be alive. Think of all the others who have not been given such a gift. Look up at the clouds and think of all those that don’t have that opportunity. Feel the air brush against your skin and those who are afraid to go outside. Taste the nectar of a piece of fruit and think of all of those who are starving. These are the simple blessings our life has afforded you, and these are beauty-full gifts given to you.

Mental Workout of the Day

Go outside for 10 minutes. Take your shoes off. Ideally, find some grass or even dirt to stand in. Look around you at the trees, listen to the birds, observe all the beauty nature possesses. Now, look higher into the sky, look at the clouds. Watch the clouds as they move through the sky. Finally, contemplate all that you are incapable of seeing. Imagine the planets as far away as they are. Imagine the hundreds of billions of other galaxies out in the ether. Contemplate the vastness of our multiverse and realize how amazing that truly is.

How To Find Peace…

I just meditated and want to share the realization I had…

As I meditated, I went through my normal ritual of reminding myself to relax, take my awareness to my breath, not force any unnecessary intentions, and simply be. However, this time was different because Archangel Michael popped into my head. I had an experience with Archangel Michael this weekend and he had remained in my awareness. So I called him forth and thanked him for always being with me and supporting me in any endeavors I feel I need guidance with.

As I continued meditating, I continued once more with the mental reminders of relaxing and breathing. This tends to be a continuous process for me during my meditations, which at times transpires into something magical, yet 90% of the time is just me reminding myself to relax and focus on my breath. However tonight it was magical.

As I continued to breathe, my mind decided it was time to let go. I began feeling a deeper sense of peace, of settling. My body got heavier, my breath became perfectly even, and although my mind was still active, it maintained a laser sharp clarity. As my mind began it’s wandering, I was able to direct it immediately back to my breath. I suddenly began to smell a scent that was more than familiar, I had no idea where it came from yet I was incredibly peaceful. As my attention remained on my breath, I started feeling a warmth and lightness emanating from my solar plexus and heart. I kept sinking deeper within myself and began to feel my body transform into a bubble of light, an energy vortex. I felt an immense power coming from the center of my being.

As I sat there I realized I wanted to stay there forever. I didn’t want to move for the rest of eternity, feeling the Infinite Power literally coming from ME! All potential came from ME! No one else, it came from that which is the Source of all beingness. As I heard my timer go off, I thought, “NOOOO! I want to stay here in this stillness forever!!!” And then I realized…this stillness is always at my disposal.

What I recognized from this experience, and what I wish for everyone to recognize, is that the peace we search for is always, and only, within us. I know so many great masters, teachers, sages, and all others we find so enlightened have said this, but it is another thing all together to experience it for ourYou-WIll-Never-Find-Peaceselves.

There is a stillness, a peace, that literally resides within the core of our being. Peace is literally the fabric of who we are. From our understanding as extensions of the One Divine Source, we know nothing but peace, nothing but love. Stillness, peace, can truly never be found from anyone, or anything, else. Peace is the realization that we are infinity connected to the Creative Source, that we ARE extensions of that Source. Unfortunately, without the acceptance of our Divine connection, we are empty. We search for fulfillment through connection with others, through things, through food, and yet we find ourselves continually empty looking for upliftment.

It is only when we are tired of feeling empty that we realize the only place we can look for inner fulfillment is where else…within. 😉 It takes strength to look within ourselves. We have learned to look for fulfillment from everything else other than the only place necessary. We have searched for peace in every corner of the world except for the space right beneath our chest cavity.

The only way to find peace…yes, the only way…is to look within ourselves. The only way is to let go of everything and FEEL the stillness that comes from letting go of all the noise in our minds. We are akin to the sky. Clouds come and go, storms fill the air, and yet they always pass. However, we can have no peace when we constantly identify with the clouds, with the storms. When we understand that we are the sky, pure, perfect, infinite, then we have peace. And the most effective way of realizing that we are extensions of that Source is through mediation…and meditation can come in many forms.

Meditation can come from sitting silently for 15 minutes and focusing on your breath, it can come from dancing freely without being watched, it can come from a 30 minute run, a stroll in the rose garden, a journal entry. Yes, the only way to find peace is to search your self, and the only way to do that is to still your mind enough to be clear.

Peace is not a state of mind, it’s a state of being…you Being. You are peace, you just have to  let the clouds pass and turn inward to realize you have always been the sky.

Write a list of 30 things to be grateful for. Read over the list 3 times once complete. As you read the things you are grateful for to yourself, do your best to feel the feelings of gratitude for each point. Stay here as long as you feel good. 🙂

Mental Workout of the Day

Write the 3 most wanted desires you have in your life right now. Imagine, and then write down, what it would feel like to be at the top of those desires. Imagine, and write down, how amazing it would feel after you’ve already manifested each of those 3 circumstances. Play with this as long as it feels good.

TABATA:

  • Pull-ups/Inverted Rows
  • Squats
  • Pull-ups
  • Sit-ups

Tabata is an interval workout. For 20 seconds you will do as many reps as possible, then rest 10 seconds. You will repeat this a total of 8 times equalling 4 minutes. You will do all 8 rounds of squats, rest 1 minute, and repeat that pattern until you have completed all the exercises. This is a 20 minute workout.

  
Mental Workout of the Day:

Write down the 5 most important things you want to see manifest in your life. Under each wanted manifestation write what it would feel like to have it. Write how wonderful you feel as a result of having each thing, or living each circumstance. Play with this until you feel uplifted.

How To Overcome the Opinion of Others…

I am slightly brooding as I write this. You see, I have stopped writing about MY experiences as a way to connect and hopefully demonstrate to those of you who read this that we are all going through such similar experiences. Now, today I was shown how others still look at me in a way that I find completely contradictory to the potential that lies within me. And I wanted to share what that was…

Out of respect I will only mention that I was shown how my inner worth was once again challenged. I have actually been challenged a few times in the last week which shows me that there is still inner work that I need to partake in. However, I find it so fascinating how we still perceive each other. I was told that I wasn’t a good business man and, in a round about way, told that I wouldn’t achieve the financial abundance that I perceive myself as acheiving.

I find it frustrating and at the same time motivating to hear these things. You see, the last time I felt this challenged was when my pediatric oncologist, a world renown pediatric bone marrow doctor, told me I would never play football again at the age of 15. My dream however was to eventually become a professional athlete. Nonetheless, this man telling me I WOULDN’T do something motivated the living fuck out of me! In my mind, there was no doubt that I would play football again, and be better than ever! Needless to say, 2 years later I was starting on my high school football team. After I relapsed, the first thing that doctor said to me when he walked into my room was, “I heard you’re playing football again.” After months of treatment my dad asked that same doctor if I would be able to play football again and he replied, “I won’t tell Zach he can’t do anything anymore. Every time I do, he does it anyway.”

What this is leading into is exactly my experience from today. As I heard this person’s thoughts, I thought to myself, “What in the fuck?! Do you not understand that I beat cancer twice!? I am able to run again after having been told by multiple doctors that I would only run again with a hip replacement?! I have the Universe at large as my supplier! I am in constant union with the Source of creation!” I was mad!!! I couldn’t believe that I was literally being called out because someone thought I was less than what my potential is…simply because I haven’t achieved a financial state that others deem as successful! Heck, I’m still mad!!!

Now what Source said to me in the midst of this experience was, “Forgive them, for they know not who they’re dealing with.” Now it sounds funny, and I actually laughed a bit, but I thought, “Thank you! Thank you for always being with me and guiding me when nobody else truly believed in me.”

I realized right then, that no matter what, only I, only you, are going to be strong enough to have the faith in yourself that will take you the heights unseen by others. Only I am capable of knowing my potential and I can’t give a shit what anybody else thinks. Truthfully, as much as we would like others to believe in us, whether it’s our parents, siblings, significant other, closest friends, nobody will truly believe in you other than you! I have to be strong enough to say, “I CAN accomplish this feat! And I will with the help and support of nothing other than the Source of Life! Together, the Mother/Father Principle and I WILL accomplish what others have deemed impossible! Together, Source and I WILL overcome any obstacle that comes us! Together, God and I WILL manifest magic and BE the example that the world has been looking for!”

You see, this world is full of others wanting to press their own limitations upon you. Unfortunately, most humans are afraid. They are not only afraid of what others may accomplish, they are afraid that if someone else demonstrates the impossible, they will then have to change and adapt to the unseen possibilities that lie within them.

As a life coach, I do my best to speak with my clients about the infinite possibilities that are dormant within them. I speak on the unseen magic that lies at the very heart of the individual. However, as I’ve continued with my work, I’ve realized that words truly don’t teach. The mind has a very difficult time grasping the unseen. And even once something is demonstrated, the human mind continues to have difficulty adapting to the magic of God. However, it is not up to us to teach everyone HOW to live in the magic of Life. It is only up to us to live in the magic of life and let those who are ready to experience that as well follow our example.

As I write, I find myself disappointed. Disappointed in the fact that those who have heard the success that I live each day by being alive, still question my worth. I am a man who has studied the masters that have come before us for a third of my life, wishing nothing more than to embody the kindness, compassion, joy, peace, and love that these men and women have demonstrated. And yet, after all the work I’ve done on myself, I can still be seen in a light that is more than unbecoming of what I wish to express. Yet this teaches me that no matter what, not everyone will witness you for who you want to be. Because this is a world that is all about reflection and attraction, each experience I have is a reminder of what I am feeling about myself.

The disappointment is not merely in myself for being thrown by the opinions of others, but rather my inability to stand firm in the knowing of my own worth. Worth is not calculated by the “things” that you have accumulated. Worth is not calculated by the people you have manipulated. Worth is not calculated by the titles you’ve been given. Worth is calculated by the love you have embodied and your ability to share that with others. Worth is calculated by your ability to inspire hope in others and influence them to love more.

AngelThe only way to overcome the opinions of others is to stand firm in your knowing as a Divine child. Only through the acknowledgement of your Divine grace can you overcome the opinions of others. Once we can truly know who we are, we can give thanks for those who show us exactly what it is we can continue to work on. For then they are messengers from Source on what our next step is in the remembrance of our Divine potential and inheritance. That is awakening. That is freedom.

Mental Workout of the Day

Today will be a meditation day. Set a timer for a minimum of 10 minutes, find a comfortable position to sit in, and take your focus to your breath. As you inhale feel the breath expand the abdomen and fill you with energy, and as you exhale collapse the abdomen and feel the weight of your body get heavier. As thoughts come just let them be and return your attention to the expansion and contraction of the abdomen.
