THINGS ARE FALLING APART FOR A REASON…

We have to believe that all the walls that are tumbling down around us are so that we can see the Light of the Sun that has been hidden for so long. We have to believe that everything that we held so dear that is coming crashing down is Spirit’s way of opening us up to all that is headed our way. We have to have faith that as all the beliefs we held true that made us believe the illusion come completely undone, the Infinite supply of Divine abundance will shine it’s Light upon us.

You see, I remembered today that Great Creative Principle wants to work through us. That aspect of our Self, that is beyond our body, beyond our minds, our True Self, wants and has a purpose to fulfill. We came to this earth experience as spiritual beings in human forms so that we may experience the grandeur of this reality and to fulfill the purpose we set forth for ourselves. Some of us are conscious of that purpose, others are still looking, but most of us, when we truly quiet our thoughts and listen to our hearts, know what purpose we have come forth to fulfill.

This purpose, I should add, is what you want it to be. If you can fathom being an Infinite Being with unlimited potential, wanting to strengthen your inner knowing and belief in yourself as an extension of the Creative Source, wouldn’t it sound like fun to head on down to Earth and express that creative potential and in doing so lift the whole of humanity? You, as a spiritual being, chose to come forth into this reality at this time so that you may live the purpose you set forth for yourself and uplift humanity! We all did! And that purpose is very easy to find, or realize. All you have to do is ask yourself one simple question…

“What uplifts my heart of hearts and fulfills me more than anything else? When I do _____________________________ I could do it absolutely all day, every day, and not grow weary. When I am__________________________I feel like time slows down and I feel completely full of life and invigorated with Love.”

Whatever you used to fill in the blank is your life purpose. That is why when you take part in that you can do it all day and you love it so much! By feeling good we are in alignment with what the Mother/Father Principle is wanting for us. You came forth with the intention of remembering that you are a beauty-full creative extension of the One, and that you would allow Spirit, your Higher Self, to flow through you so that you would uplift humanity and Gaia, and that you would feel the delicious creative expansion of this life experience!

The reason so many things always fall apart can be deduced to 1 reason, you are not respecting your soul and living true to your heart…you are not fulfilling your purpose. God is constantly removing you from this environment or that environment, or this job or that job, or this relationship or that relationship, and doing It’s best to give you the reminders of what your life purpose is, but you keep resisting the flow of life. At times don’t we think we know better than God. Truthfully? We think we know how things should unfold, and in what manner, and when they don’t go exactly as we planned we get upset or sad or depressed or feel like things aren’t working in our favor, when in actuality all the things that are coming undone are gifts!

You are asking for help…Source is responding saying, “Yes, you are right, you DO deserve that!”…so the Universe begins to rearrange what comes into and out of your life, but then you start seeing things coming undone and you think, “Hey! I thought things were suppose to be coming in, not falling apart.”…and so you resist the changes that are making it possible to experience all the desires you want to experience and to begin living your life purpose.

You are NOT smarter than the Infinite Creative Principle!!!

As we realize that the Universe is not smiting us, but rather reorganizing itself so that we can share our deepest gifts to the world, we can begin to relax. This is the faith component. As we begin to hold true to the belief that the Universe wants to work through us and will rearrange itself for us so that I can share our gifts to the world, life becomes a game. The stress of finding the job, or hustling to make that paper, or running around like a chicken with its head cut off, subsides and we can then listen to the inspiration we are being given so that we can take inspired action.

Our hearts will be open to receiving the guidance of talking to this person, or eating lunch at that restaurant, or going to the gym at this time, or taking a right at this light, or, or ,or…the possibilities are endless. As we let go of trying to figure out how everything will happen, and have faith that it is and has already happened, we find that place of stillness within ourselves where our true Power lies. That place of nirvana where we trust that our Source is leading us to exactly where we want to go and in the way where we can give our deepest gifts!

It is time that we remember that we are here to give our gifts and Source is always supporting us. It is time that we remember who we are and have faith in the God Principle of which we are united. May you be reunited with your Truth!

WHEN…?

It has been some time since I have decided to write, but tonight I ask myself…When will we come together as a collective and no longer allow our differences to cause us to fight one another? When will we look into each other’s hearts and see each other as family instead of getting lost on our appearances? When will we take our sight beyond the beliefs we have been taught and recognize our Infinite connectedness?

I ask myself this, and I ask all of you this, because our inability to let go of old beliefs that we have been taught by parents, family members, friends, elders, TV, radio, magazines, etc., are tearing us apart. Diversity is so beautiful on this Earth and yet we refuse to look at the beauty in it! Jesus said, “In order to be the Christ you must see the Christ in every face, in every form.” We must take our perception beyond what we have been taught, we must take our perception beyond what we have allowed ourselves to believe with our intellect, and allow ourselves to believe what we know in our hearts.

This Earth experience is here for us to experience God in every form…whether that be rain, clouds, sunshine, trees, wind, flowers, grass, rocks, sand, water, dogs, cats, elephants, birds, white people, black people, weird people (that’s most of us 😉 ), tall people, short people, English-speaking people, Spanish-speaking people, Blond people, brunette people, all of it is God!

We have forgotten that we are all united with the Great Creative Principle, God. Although it seems that we are separate from each other and God, we are truly all united, far more than we could ever comprehend with our intellect. We must look for perfection and Divinity in every form so that we may unify! So that we may remember why we are here as spiritual beings having a human experience! So that we walk through life with purpose and kindness always.

When do you think this will occur? When do you think our time will come to unite as a collective? The only time can be now! It can not be in a year, or ten years, or one hundred years, or never as some would say. We must start NOW to see each other as brothers and sisters of the same Divine family! All the great mystics, prophets, and Masters have always said we must treat each other as brothers and sisters for we are all the embodiment of Divinity. We are truly One.

Each day we must walk with a Presence that honors ALL the beauty of this life experience! Although a person’s actions or words may not seem to represent Divinity to you, continue to look upon those individuals, your brothers and sisters, with an undying Love. You must find that Light within you that will shine through any darkness and BE the Light for the collective! As you walk with such clarity and move with Divine guidance the heavens will be yours! They have always been ours without our understanding, but NOW is the time for remembrance! NOW is the time for the realization that we are all fingers of the hand of God. That your “enemy” deserves Love just as much as your friend because of our spiritual unity.

The time has come to release all old beliefs that have kept us restricted from realizing this Truth. Time has come to look beyond the skin color, the language, the clothing choices, the differences, and realize that these are all beauty-full extensions of the One. That diversity is beauty-full and meant to be cherished because it is all but God. We are here not to tolerate each other, but to Love each other unendingly. For in that Love we uplift the whole of the collective One.

I ask you to ask yourself, “Is it worth it for me to condemn someone because of his/her beliefs, actions, words, because they are not like mine? Can I accept and Love others although we do not look the same or have the same likes and interests? Will I choose Love or fear?” These are very important questions that we must ask ourselves in order that we may understand who we truly are and begin to change the world through the life we live. You are capable, you are beauty-full, I Love You. Let us come together and choose Love.

Let’s Talk About Sex

Hello my Lovelies,

Lately I have been discussing the topic of sex with quite a few people. Many of my friends are having a difficult time with this topic. It seems ironic since I have engaged in none of it for some time now, however it seems that our opinions and beliefs are really holding us back from really determining for ourselves why we are engaging in sex, or love-making. This evening, while I was at the gym, a wonderful man I am friends with was explaining to me his opinion of sex. His belief was that pre-marital sex ruined relationships and I’d like to share my Truth with all of you that I shared with him.

You see, sex in and of itself is not a temptation, it is not a path to sin, quite the contrary. Sex, as it was intended by the Divine Principle, was very much a beauty-full experience that many spirit BEings came forth wanting to participate in. Sex is a highway to higher states of consciousness. When we can understand that love-making is a sharing of one’s life force with another person, it is a blending, a coming together, of two fingers of the same hand, it is opening yourself up and sharing the most intimate parts of yourself with another person, then we understand how that can expand our awareness. The Kamasutra was not a book to show you how to have sex, that is natural. The Kamasutra was a book showing us how to make love to the person we wish to share our soul with, and by doing so reach God Consciousness.

Sex is a key, a key to higher states of understanding who we are and seeing that in others. Think about it for a second. When, or if, you had an experience with someone you felt so deeply connected to when you made love, did it not fill your heart up with so much joy and ecstasy that you wanted to experience that forever? Were you not in a state of union with the Divine as you expressed and felt the eternal Love between you and that other person? We can see how so many can become addicted to that, of wanting to feel that constant state of joy, however many of us don’t understand why we are wanting that, just that we want it.

Sex is also a way to physically express inner feelings towards each other. It is an expression very much that allows us to demonstrate how much we truly care for that person. Also, not to mention, that is a way by which we bring new beauty-full Divine vessels into this physical reality.

However, through our collective lack of understanding, and lack of education, through channels such as religion and schools, we are taught that sex is a bad thing. Sex should be avoided because it is a sin. Sex causes STI’s, and pregnancy, and unwanted labeling, and fear Fear FEAR!!

Now I am not suggesting that situations such as those do not occur from engaging in sex, I am simply suggesting that we go about teaching it to ourselves, others around us, and our children differently.

What if from an age when we began to feel the physical attraction to those we were attracted to, those who we looked up to said to us, “Now, I can see that you are beginning to recognize physical beauty and are becoming interested in engaging in sexual behaviors. I’d like to tell you something very important regarding this topic…

“When you engage in a sexual act with someone, you are sharing the most sacred part of yourself. When you decide to engage in sexual behaviors be aware of who you choose to do it with. You can choose to engage in such an act with someone who honors you, who cares for you, who respects you, and who loves you. Or, you can choose to engage in such an act with someone who disrespects you, who treats you poorly, and who is simply using you for physical gratification. If you choose the first person you will not only experience unlimited joy, but you will learn about who you really are and be able to share that with someone. If you choose the latter, you will experience sorrow, regret, and yearn for someone to fill a void that only you alone can fill.”

What if we were told this simple statement? What if WE spoke this simple statement?

You see, the majority of us have lost sight of why we engage in sex. Many of us do it to fill a void, maybe due to an unloving parent or parental figure or insecurity, and think that by engaging in sex with someone they can somehow fill that void; yet when they leave that void still remains. Some of us have been sexually abused and think that the way we express love is through engaging in sexual activity. Some of us simply do it for physical gratification. There can be many reasons why we engage in sexual behaviors. If you see yourself in one of these situations, I do not want to pass judgement at all, because that is your path and it is beautiful, but if we can gain awareness of why we are engaging is sex, we can understand how we can truly experience it’s purpose.

I have never had an unloving parent, I have never been sexually abused, I have however, at times, just wanted physical gratification. I do not know why you engage in sex, only you know that, I do know however, that if you are reading this you are ready to experience the purpose for which love-making was intended.

We have to remember that we are naturally given feelings of wanting to experience sex for a reason. It is NOT because the devil is inside you and wants to take your soul! It is NOT because we are animals and need to procreate. It is much deeper than that. Sex, Love-making, can be an intense, ethereal, out-of-body experience filled with much joy, ecstasy, and Love, or it can be a unenjoyable, boring, regrettable experience. Either situation is very possible, and sometimes we will have both experiences with the same person. However, if we can enter into such an experience with an awareness of WHY we are going to have sex it can lead to many avenues. It can take us down many paths, it all depends on which one we consciously choose.

I’ll finish by saying, I highly recommend that when you choose to engage in sex, choose someone who you would smile glee-fully at when you woke up next to them in the morning. If you do engage in sex, choose someone who not only makes you smile, but has demonstrated through their words and actions that their eyes for you only. If you do engage in sex, do it with someone who lights up your heart when they enter the room. If you do engage in sex, choose someone who you have gotten to know on a deep level mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. If you do engage in sex, make sure it is with someone who you are willing to bare your soul to. If you do engage in sex, make sure it is with someone you are willing to experience  and see the face of God/Spirit with.

I wish you, my lovelies, all so well on your trekking through sexuality. It is a journey to be walked with awareness.

Where Is OUR Compassion? (Somehwere Within You You Know)

I want to preface this by saying this may very well be the most inarticulate and aggressive blog I have ever written. I write this with a heavy heart. Hurting for my animal brothers and sisters as well as questioning my human brothers and sisters.

I just finished watching 2 videos. The first with a 2 year-old girl being hit by a car and having bystander after bystander walk and drive by her for roughly 5 minutes before anyone took the time to see if she was injured…which she was by the way and did die. The second video had to do with animal abuse at rodeos. Now the only question I could ask myself is, “Where has OUR compassion gone? Where has our humanity gone?”

Each and every human being is a perfect extension of that which we call God, or Spirit, or Source, EVERY…SINGLE…ONE…and yet we refuse to acknowledge that. How far we have fallen as human beings! We are made in the image and likeness of the Creator, absolute extensions of the Creator, and yet look at how we treat our Earth, our animals, each other!! We poison our Earth, our Mother, with gas and chemicals, and pollute Her rivers and waters with our “technology!” We kill living beings for food! We take life not understanding what it is we do because supermarkets prepare it all nicely for us so we don’t have to consider the fact that the meat we ingest was once part of a Divine extension of Source just as well. We kill each other over beliefs, over ideas, over resources, over false power, over WHAT?!

Each and every single human on this Earth is a Divine extension of God, every single animal on this earth is a Divine extension of God, each and every tree and plant is a Divine extension of God, and yet we walk this Earth never appreciating what our Mother does for us! Not knowing that the very ground we walk in provides that life force that nourishes our very vessels. Not understanding that our sins come not because we are born sinners, but because we refuse to listen to the Divine guidance that is our True Self. We are sinners because we learn to sin! We take life because we learn to take life!! We refuse to acknowledge our Divinity because others tell us we are limited! We refuse to walk this Earth as if each step we take is a blessing! We refuse to walk this Earth and acknowledge that every bug, plant, and animal that we encounter is Spirit in a different form! We refuse to see Spirit within each other, and look at what we have accomplished!

Wars, fear, killing, greed, murder, cruelty, pain, sorrow, all because we REFUSE to acknowledge who we all are. If Jesus, or Buddha, or Krishna, or any religious Teacher were to come forth and look at our actions and words toward each other and this planet, what do you think they would say?! I am doing my best to be compassionate, and I understand we all have our journey to take, but WHY DO YOU REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE OUR DIVINITY?!?!

What is wrong with accepting the fact that you are God?! Is it because it is sac-religious? Is it because a book written thousands of years ago, and changed countless times by fear-full men, and used to enslave humanity, says it is wrong? What is wrong with accepting the fact that we are all connected?! That we are all in this together!? That we are all extensions of One Soul looking at ourselves through a different perception?! Why is that so difficult to even ponder?! Ask yourself!!!

Why are we so mean to each other? Why do we refuse to look each other in the eyes and smile? Why do we constantly cast judgement on each other based on appearances or beliefs or whatever the case may be? Am I casting judgement right now? Probably. But do I cast judgement for our upliftment? Probably.

We have fallen so far as a collective. Can you imagine what it will be like when we re-emerge into our True form, our Soul Self, and realize how ridiculous our words and actions were? Can you put yourself into that place of BEing in complete Harmony with God and having that understanding that we are all One? Or are you afraid to do that? Are you afraid to take that step to even ponder that it is not blasphemy to acknowledge that you are an extension of Perfection, and that all other beings are as well? Why are you afraid? Is it because of what you have been reading in a 2 thousand year-old book for the last how ever many years and somehow think you will be punished by some outside force, or is it because you refuse to forgive yourself for your past actions and words and need “something else” to forgive you?

And I know that we are awakening as a collective, not just America, or North America, but as a global society. And I know that we are evolving consciously as a whole, I just still see so much fear and hate and anger coming from my brothers’ and sisters’ words and actions and I wonder when we will all decide that killing another living being, including the Earth, is not part of our intention as Spiritual BEings entering into our physical vessels.

For anyone who reads this, there is no need to respond to this, these are all rhetorical questions from within You. These questions are not my questions, these are OUR questions. Somewhere within you you know that taking life is not why you are here. Somewhere within you you know that intentionally harming anything else through words or actions is not why you are here. Somewhere within you you know that we are all One. Somewhere within you you know that it is our task to change the world as a collective. Somewhere within you you know that the lies we have been told all our lives are false. Somewhere within you you know that all the answers lie within your heart and it is your task to awaken them. Somewhere within you you know that each and every one of us is an extension of Spirit. Somewhere within you you know that these words are YOURS!

We MUST regain our compassion, our understanding of who we are. THAT is OUR task and only through our thoughts, words, and actions can we make a change. By listening to heart we will regain our compassion. By listening to that inner voice we will regain our compassion. Our Mother Earth cannot sustain such cruelty, if we do not look in the mirror and make the change that we all want, who knows what the consequences will be.

Our task is to BE that which we are. OUR task is to BE Love. And through that BEing we can overflow to each other and all living BEings. Let us awaken our inner knowing and LIVE that Life fully.

You Said THAT?!

Recently I have been noticing a few things regarding interpersonal encounters on a social networking website, especially coming from my male brethren. Now, there will be no lesson to learn from this, no real deep spiritual questioning, just some observations, and possibly questions we could ask ourselves to understand our behaviors. So here goes nothin’.

Most of the women that I am friends with, or acquainted with, are conventionally quite beautiful. Men seem to fawn over them and find them to be physically beautiful. As such, these girls (women I guess, but we’re all boys and girls let’s be honest) receive much attention and praise when they post a picture of their face, and a lot of attention when they post a body picture, especially of one in a swimsuit or the like. Now, when I read the comments of the men who they are friends with, I think to myself, “Why in the world did you say THAT? Why weren’t you just up-front?”

Usually something along the lines of, “Nice tan” or “Cute sandals” when it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you’re actually saying, “I find you incredibly physically attractive and I want you to notice me!” So my question is, why are we not more direct? Why don’t we just say what we feel? These are serious questions to ask yourself if you are reading this? Why beat around the bush when all you need to do is change your words so that you express your true feelings and intentions?

Now this next little segment is for my female friends, my sisters. When these men comment on your photos why is it that you ignore them? And moreover, why do you find it annoying to have men you don’t know giving you compliments? That would seem like something you could appreciate, instead of condemn. And lastly, why do you become frustrated that men don’t see the “real you” when you never show that part of yourself? You just post pictures of you in full make-up and/or in a bikini and expect men to look past that and not get a thousand likes. My dear sisters, most men have been conditioned since they were young, and that conditioning didn’t come with a program that said, “Stop looking at her lady parts and tell her how smart she looks!”

Returning to my brothers, if you do happen to do this, recognize it. I would never say to stop it, well I might but I don’t mean it. Just be aware. Be aware of WHY you are commenting on this photo or that photo. Are you doing it because you actually DO like her shoes? Yes…okay that is fine. Are you doing it because you want to be noticed? Yes…okay that is fine too, but recognize that you can just as easily say, “You are a beautiful young lady.” It’s that simple. Does that mean she will respond the way you want her to? Maybe, maybe not, but at least you took the leap of being honest.

And sisters, if this DOES happen to you, a boy commenting on your photo, be appreciative that you have someone who finds you attractive. Do you have to go on a date with him and lead him on? Absolutely not, a simple genuine thank you is more than enough. But also be aware of why you are posting pictures? Could it be that you DO want the attention but might not be getting it from the group you would like it?

I am just throwing things out there. WHY are we choosing to act the way we do? Why do we refuse to be honest with ourselves and share our true feelings? WHY? That is really it. Just questioning our behaviors and hopefully learning in the process 🙂

The Image of a Son

Tonight, as I was eating my dinner and listening to Jason Mraz, I was hit with an image in my mind of my dad and I watching Jason Mraz perform in Berkeley. This past October we had taken a day trip to our old stoppin’ grounds in Oakland where I received my chemotherapy treatment and got to enjoy the culture of Berkeley before we got to see the most amazing concert performed by the fantastic Jason Mraz. While I revisited this memory in my mind, another image flooded into my awareness, an image of me holding my son. And I immediately thought, “Will I have the relationship with my son that my dad and I had?”

This brought on a flood of confusion and anxiety, one because I don’t even have a girlfriend-and definitely no son, and the other because I have been blessed with such an amazing father that I didn’t know if I could develop that type of relationship with my son. For the first time in my life I had a slight glimpse of what all my parent-friends say being a parent is like and how amazing it is, because for a second I actually thought I had a son.

But this 3 second awakening made me realize how incredibly blessed I am! You see, my father and I have a wonderful relationship, as do my mother and I, but my dad and I have seemed to develop a bond that goes FAR beyond that of a regular father-son relationship. Again, so do my mother and I, but this image made me recognize something special.

I have always looked up to my dad. I think that is natural for most young boys to look up to their fathers. As most girls look up to their mothers. But to this day I still look up to my father. I am still enamored by his strength, courage, gentleness, kindness, and love.

My dad has always supported me, he has questioned me, but always supported me. And I realized how few people in this world are blessed enough to have parents that love them so incredibly dearly and unconditionally as my parents. I meet people all the time that have strained relationships with their parents, that can’t wait to be on their own and not deal with their family, but I am not one of those people, quite the opposite. I feel everyday that my mom and dad love me whole-heartedly and they display that. I FEEL loved!

I tell people about my mountain climb with cancer and they always say, “Wow, you are so strong, I don’t know what I would’ve done had that happened to me.” And I think to myself, “Well if you had the loving family I do that wouldn’t even be a question.” I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn’t feel loved. Even when I was a stinker and my parents were upset with me, I always felt loved.

My dad has ALWAYS put his dreams on hold so that my brothers and I never had to want for anything. My mom as well!!! They have both ALWAYS done what they felt they needed to do so that my brothers and I always had everything we needed. I know many of my parent-friends who read this can agree with that feeling and I just wanted to express my gratitude to my parents for doing that!

Thank you mom and dad for letting me fall down while also helping me back up. Thank you for always letting me make my own decisions and being there to help me clean up the messes. Thank you for letting me get dirty and being there to give me a bath (when I was little of course 😉 ). Thank you for always telling me,”Goodnight, I love you.” Thank you for always demonstrating what a kind, loving, stern, frustrated, etc., etc., parent should be. I have always felt loved and some day I will know what it is like to be in your shoes, and I know that you will still be there helping me along the way in that new journey as well!

I truly could not have asked for 2 better people to have been my guides in this life experience! I chose you 2 for a reason! Tonight I was given the gift as to why that was, I not only understood why anymore, but I FELT why.

I guess I am writing this not because I want to make anyone feel bad about their relationship with their parents, but to recognize that that our parents will always love us. They might not always like our words, our actions, our choices, nor we like their words, actions, or choices, but I truly believe that they will always love us. They chose to be our guides just as much as we chose them to be our guides, and we all chose these for a reason. They have helped us, in one way or another, to become who we are and to learn. And for that I am grateful.
